Lake Blackshear Resort Golf Club, Cordele

Staying at the hotel was truly a delightful experience. The rooms were not only nice-sized but very clean upon our arrival, providing a comfortable stay. The villas offered a beautiful view of the lake and excellent meeting facilities, making the stay memorable. The service was accommodating and helpful, going above and beyond to make our experience smooth and enjoyable.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms had only new towels but featured a comfortable bed with a beautiful view of the lake; however, they felt a bit like military housing. The service was a bit inconsistent, with some staff members not knowing basic items like Chardonnay, but the wedding services were appreciated. The location in a state park on Lake Blackshear was lovely and brought a sense of tranquility, although being back in the swamp from the golf course was not ideal. The dining experience, which was served at the lodge and included in our package, left much to be desired as it was overpriced, dirty, and disorganized. The facilities were decent, but there were some areas that could use improvement.

The hotel offers clean and nicely appointed rooms, a very accommodating service, a beautiful location overlooking the lake, an okay dining experience, and well-maintained facilities.

Upon arrival, we were delighted to find our rooms located right next to the lake and close to the golf course where we spent our days. The rooms were fabulous, but a mix-up led us to the wrong room. The service was top-notch, and the staff, especially Chrissy in the restaurant, were incredibly accommodating. The location, in a state park on Lake Blackshear, brought us back, although it was marred by some cleanliness issues. Dining experiences were a delight, with both dinner and breakfast being delicious and served at the lodge. Globally inspired dishes offered a unique culinary experience. The facilities were well-kept, providing a comfortable stay overall.
